Re-glazing
Broken panes are a common issue and pose security risks. We take great pleasure in our ability to provide our speedy service, just 30-90 minutes* in an emergency. We also offer an excellent and professional quality re-glaze service. Upon arrival we will determine the accurate dimensions and specification of the glass and will install a British Standard quality replacement to those specifications.
We aim to fit single glazed glass panes the same day however certain types of glass (e.g. patterned door panels) and double glazed units require ordering from our suppliers and fitting when ready generally around 3-5 working days*. We can fit multiple panes at any one time and with a wide difference in size, specification and height. As the glass is fitted externally in the majority of cases ladders, scaffolding or cherry pickers are used for higher levels to ensure the glass is fitted correctly (this may incur an extra charge).
Emergency Board Up Services
If it is not possible for the glazing to be dealt with immediately, an emergency board up service is utilised instead. We can apply a strong plywood board, temporarily, over the broken panel to secure your property, until a re-glaze is possible. We carry a number of boards on our vans, so we are able to cut it to size on site and fit it for you.
